Privacy promise

No registration. We do not sell your personal data. The refinance calculator runs on your device.

What this site is

hrc.io is a static website and a browser-based calculator. You can use every public page, including the Home Refinance Calculator, without creating an account, signing in, or providing a name, email, or phone number.

What we do not do

Where your numbers go

Amortization and break-even math run in JavaScript in your browser. Submitting the form does not post your loan figures to hrc.io. If your browser allows it, the site may save the last inputs in local storage on this device so the form is still filled when you return. That copy never has to leave the device. Use Reset on the calculator to clear it, or clear site data in your browser.

If you use “Copy link,” the loan figures are placed in the page URL on your machine so you can bookmark or send the scenario. Anyone who opens that link can see those figures. Do not send a link that contains data you consider private.

What a host may see

Like any website, the server or content-delivery network that hosts hrc.io may receive standard technical logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and referrer. We do not use those logs to build a marketing profile of you, and we do not sell them. If we add a privacy-respecting traffic measurement tool later, this page will say so before it collects anything beyond those logs.

Cookies

The calculator does not need cookies to run. Local storage, if used, is not a third-party advertising cookie.

Children

The site is meant for adults comparing home loans. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If the way hrc.io handles data changes, we will update this page and the date above. The promise that the calculator does not require registration and that we do not sell personal data is the product, not a slogan we intend to retire.

Use the calculator anyway

That is the idea.
